Challenge

To expand her practice, and build a name for herself, Dr. Christine Meyer, a dedicated general medical practitioner, requested the development of a unique brand identity that could not be mistaken for any other medical practice. She wanted her logo and stationery to reflect comprehensive care, teamwork, and professionalism without being too “corporate.” Additionally, she wanted the identity to be seamlessly woven throughout her new office space.

Solution

An identity, not just a logo
Christine Meyer, MD’s CMMD logo is a palindrome-like mark created with her initials and the letters of her medical credential. The subtle connection of the letters as people encapsulate Dr. Meyer’s personal and compassionate approach to healthcare, and the team developing within her growing practice.

The identity was adapted for lab coats and scrubs, plus her website, business cards, letterheads, appointment cards, and other marketing materials.

Result

The CMMD identity was fully embraced by Dr. Meyer and her team.

The practice experienced a significant increase in patient inquiries and new patient registrations within the first six months of rebranding and grew from a staff of three to a staff of 10 within two years.

The CMMD identity has grown with Dr. Meyer and has became a familiar symbol in the community, even for those who aren’t her patients. It was the basis of Dr. Meyer’s 501c-3 charity startup. And it even became her vanity license plate.
